🔶 Ground attack missile of the Houthis to the "Ministry of Defense and the largest oil refinery" of Saudi Arabia.
Yemen's Houthis, who are backed by the Islamic Republic, announced on Tuesday (October 27th) that they had attacked Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Defense in Riyadh and the Ras Tanura refinery in the east of that country in a series of missile and drone attacks.
According to the AFP news agency, Saudi officials confirmed the interception of several ballistic missiles, but did not provide an explanation about the missiles hitting the targets declared by the Houthis.
Yahya Sari, the military spokesman for the Houthis, announced that the forces of this group attacked the Saudi Ministry of Defense in Riyadh with a ballistic missile. He claimed: "Our militant armed forces attacked the Ministry of Defense in the capital of the Saudi enemy, Riyadh, with a guided ballistic missile and hit directly."
In another statement, Sari announced a ground attack missile at the Ras Tanura refinery in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. Saudi officials announced that they intercepted and destroyed two ballistic missiles that were launched at Riyadh. However, shrapnel from demolition missiles hit a building, a construction project and a car.
