Iran threatened to take legal action against all Sinokor ships The Persian Gulf Waterways Management Authority, an institution created by the Islamic Republic to manage requests for ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, announced on Tuesday, October 27 that all vessels belonging to South Korea's Sinokor Shipping Company will be subject to legal measures starting November 1. This decision was announced in the context of the fact that Tehran imposed extensive restrictions on the traffic of commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz during the past months. The Authority for the Management of Waterways in the Persian Gulf announced on its official account on the X social network: "Boats belonging to the Sinocer shipping company committed the most traffic violations during the last three months, and appropriate enforcement actions were taken against at least 7 of them." The ships belonging to this company were also included in the list published by the Islamic Republic in August. At that time, Tehran announced that 45 oil tankers had violated transit regulations in the Strait of Hormuz.
