🔶 The military coalition led by Saudi Arabia announced the interception of three Houthi missiles.

The Saudi-led military coalition intercepted and destroyed three ballistic missiles launched by the Houthis in the early morning hours of Tuesday, October 27.

Turki al-Maliki, the spokesman for the coalition, wrote on the X social network: "Air defense intercepted and destroyed three ballistic missiles that the Houthi assassination militia fired towards the eastern region [of Arabia]."

The Saudi Civil Defense Organization previously issued early warnings in the early hours of Tuesday morning about the possibility of a "hostile threat" in the eastern region and al-Kharj province. The organization later announced that the danger in both areas had been removed.

Houthi attacks on Saudi territory have increased in the past week, and Saudi authorities have announced drone and missile attacks by this group in various areas, including Riyadh, the capital of this country. On Monday, the Egyptian House of Representatives approved by a two-thirds majority the request of the country's president, Abdel Fattah Sisi, for military assistance to Saudi Arabia against the Houthis.
