🔶 The beginning of the decisive POW election in Israel with the presence of citizens at the polling stations.

With the opening of the polls at seven o'clock in the morning on Tuesday local time, the captive citizens of Israel went to the polls in the first national elections since Hamas' ground attack on the country on October 7, 2023.

About 7.3 million people are eligible to vote in this election, and the polls will be open until 10:00 p.m. local time.

The last polls published before the start of voting showed that Benjamin Netanyahu, who has the longest tenure in Israel's history, is in a very close race with Gadi Eisenkot, the former chief of staff of the army and his main moderate opponent.

Although both are expected to fall short of an outright majority if they keep their election promises not to form a government with several other factions.
