🔶 Trump: The ceasefire with Iran was a waste of time.
US President Donald Trump said during a speech at a Republican election rally in Mississippi that the ceasefire with Iran is a "waste of time" this summer.
Trump said: "We had a short truce, which I never liked very much. I think it was a waste of time, but you would want to listen to the experts."
He added: "We set a short ceasefire to allow some ships to enter. "You know, we want to be friends, but in my opinion it was just a waste of time."
Trump again defended the US war with Iran, and repeated the statements of a Republican lawmaker, claiming: "We didn't start a war with Iran, Iran started a war with us."
