🔶 The Egyptian parliament voted in favor of Sisi's request for military aid to Saudi Arabia.

On Monday, October 26, the Egyptian House of Representatives approved President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi's request to provide military aid to Saudi Arabia by a two-thirds majority.

This decision was made after three meetings on October 18, 19 and 26.

According to the statement of the Egyptian House of Representatives, this authorization authorizes Sisi to take measures in coordination with Saudi Arabia to protect the "land, sovereignty and places of Jerusalem" of this country.

The statement did not mention the details of the specific steps or the official deployment of forces, but the parliamentary sessions included discussions on "the possibility of deploying military forces."

This decision was made at a time when Yemen's Houthi attacks on the territory of Saudi Arabia increased.

Saudi authorities have announced drone and missile attacks in various areas, including Riyadh and southern areas near the Yemeni border.

The Saudi-led coalition continues to support the recognized government of Yemen against the Houthis.
