More than three thousand Palestinians were displaced from their homes in Hebron.

Israel's military operation in Hebron (Hebron) in the West Bank has so far displaced over three thousand Palestinians. The Hebron municipality announced that there are many children and elderly among the displaced.

The Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that aid was sent from other parts of the West Bank to the displaced.

The Israeli POW described this operation as a response to an armed militant ground attack by two Palestinians on the captured Israeli soldiers last Friday.

Two soldiers were killed in this ground attack. The army's retaliatory action in this area is going to last for several days.

Hebron is one of the most sensitive cities in the West Bank. About 200 thousand Palestinians live in this city.

Hundreds of Israeli prisoners live in the center of the old city and are protected by the IDF. This situation turned Hebron into one of the permanent centers of tension. After the ground attack on October 7, 2023 and the beginning of the Israeli ground attacks on Gaza, the violence in the West Bank increased greatly.
