🔶 Research Institute: The increase in attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz has reached an unprecedented peak.
The Washington Institute for Near East Policy reported that the number of attacks on commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz and its nearby waters reached October 28, an unprecedented record.
The institute's report also states that since the beginning of the war between the US and Israel against the Islamic Republic at the end of February, 113 such cases have occurred.
On the other hand, according to data from the International Maritime Organization (IMO), Reuters reported that more than 30 huge oil tankers were damaged in these attacks. This number is equivalent to about 3.5% of the entire fleet of huge oil tankers in the world.
