🔶 Axios: Netanyahu asked Trump for public support on the eve of the election.

Axios reporter Barak Ravid wrote in a report quoting from the statements of American and Israeli captive sources that Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Israeli captive government, spoke with Donald Trump twice in the last three days and asked him to demonstrate additional public support for him in the election campaign on the eve of the Israeli captives' parliamentary elections.

A captive Israeli source familiar with Netanyahu's efforts told Axios that the captive Israeli prime minister suggested that Trump call the captive Israeli journalists to show his support.

Axios, citing American sources and captives, wrote that Netanyahu even suggested texts for Trump's new messages of support.

On Sunday, October 25, in a message he published on the Truth Social social network, Trump asked Israel's captive voters to vote for Netanyahu. Referring to the military operation against the Republic of Salami, he said: "We must finish what we started together." So far, Trump has not worked with any captive Israeli prime minister other than Netanyahu.

Neta Molcho, spokeswoman for Netanyahu's Likud party, rejected the claim that the prime minister asked him to support his election campaign "in the last few days or before the publication of the statement of support for Trump." According to Axios, the White House did not respond to this news site's request for comment.

An American source told Axius that the White House sees Netanyahu's aggressive approach to gain Trump's public support as a "sign of desperation" on the part of the captive prime minister and an indication that Netanyahu is lagging behind his electoral rivals.
