🔶 Limited reopening of the airport in Riyadh despite the new threat of the Houthis.

On Sunday, October 25, Saudi Arabia announced the reopening of both terminals of King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. This airport has been closed since October 10, after the ground attack that killed 13, for which the Houthis claimed responsibility.

According to Reuters, the first terminal is for domestic flights and the second terminal is for international flights of Saudi airlines. However, Flytradar24 data showed little movement on Sunday.

Yahya Sari, the military spokesman for the Iran-backed Houthis, called the airport still a "military target" and asked passengers, workers and airlines not to use it.

At the same time, the Saudi Civil Defense announced that shrapnel that fell from the interception of two ballistic missiles over the two cities of Hamis Moshit and Ahad Rafida injured two people and caused damage to residential buildings and cars. The new clashes between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis have broken the cease-fire that has been maintained mainly by UN mediation since 2022.
