🔶 Wall Street Journal: American ships are armed for a possible ground attack on Iran.

The Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday (October 24) that US warships in the Middle East are increasing their weapons reserves and preparing for the possibility of renewed military strikes on Iran.

This newspaper quoted American officials who are aware of the military plans and reported that these actions are being carried out in order to prepare for a possible escalation of the war in the event that Donald Trump issues a ground attack order in the coming weeks.

In a rare visit to the aircraft carrier George Washington and a destroyer equipped with guided missiles in the Arabian Sea, Wall Street Journal reporters witnessed up close the flight operation and the extensive transfer of ammunition and support equipment to the US Navy. According to this report, the weapons transferred include a significant number of long-range missiles for ground attack on ground targets and rock crushing bombs designed to penetrate fortified ground targets.

This equipment can be used in operations against protected military targets and fortified facilities.
