Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, announced on Saturday, October 24 (November 2) that the speed restrictions imposed on the Starlink and Starshield satellite communication systems have been lifted and these services have returned to normal.

While appreciating the American officials, he emphasized that the return of these systems is of vital importance to support the Ukrainian forces and to deal with the Russian suicide drones.

The President of Ukraine announced in a message that the process of removing the restrictions began last night and until Saturday morning, the speed of satellite communication returned to the level required for military operations.

Zelensky said: "The most important thing today is that the performance of Starlink and Starshield has returned to the speed we had before the restrictions were imposed."

Referring to the importance of these services, he added that the return of communication speed is necessary for the transfer of equipment and logistical support to the front lines and to protect Ukraine from UAVs equipped with jet engines.
