The military coalition led by Saudi Arabia announced that the country's air defense systems intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched by the Houthis towards Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.

Turki al-Maliki, the spokesman for this coalition, announced this news on Saturday, October 24 in a message on the X social network.

The Saudi Civil Defense Organization previously issued emergency warnings in Riyadh, Najran, Jeddah, Taif, Yanba, Makkah and Wadi al-Dawasar. Officials then announced that the danger in these areas had been removed.

The Saudi-led coalition also announced the interception and destruction of a drone in the eastern province of this country.

The Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia's oil facilities continued last week and led to an increase in oil prices.
