📸 Photo of the day: Katrina giant in the field of perennial flowers.
The huge statue of Caterina, a famous and traditional symbol of Mexico, stands out in the middle of a field covered with orange parsley flowers in Mexico City, the capital of this country. Mexican people celebrate Day of the Dead every year on November 1st and 2nd. In the days leading up to this event, orange flowers are picked from the fields and sent to the markets to be used to decorate the streets, houses and graves throughout Mexico.
