🔶 Trump: Maybe we'll do another little rage by Hamas against Iran.
On Friday, October 23, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced the possibility of another military operation against Iran at an election rally in the state of Florida. Referring to the Iran war, Trump said: "Maybe we'll do another little rage by Hamas."
The American president did not provide further details about the country's upcoming operation against Iran.
Trump's statements were made as the Iran war approaches the end of its eighth month and the rise in fuel prices has affected the atmosphere of the midterm elections in the United States.
On Thursday, Trump accused Iran on his social network "Truth Social" of publishing fake reports about attacks on oil tankers and the presence of sea mines in the Strait of Hormuz in order to raise the price of oil. The "New York Times" reported on Thursday, October 22, citing senior American officials and people with information, that the American military and captives were preparing plans to begin a new round of attacks against Iran after the midterm elections in the United States.
According to this report, possible attacks would be short-term but serious and would likely target Iran's energy infrastructure, nuclear facilities and weapons.
Sources in the know told The New York Times that the United States and the captives in early October went so far as to order new attacks, but Trump apparently abandoned that decision at the last minute.
In an interview with the "Newsmax" network, Trump confirmed that Washington would consider a ground attack on the nuclear facilities known as "Ko Klang" if the military operation is renewed.
