🔶 Macron: France will hold a meeting to support the Lebanese army after the elections in Israel.

Emmanuel Macron, the president of France, announced that his country will hold a conference in support of the Lebanese army after the elections held this month. He described the pressure on Beirut as "unbearable".

On Wednesday, October 21, Macron answered reporters' questions in Doha, the capital of Qatar, as part of his trip to the Middle East.

He said: "In order to do this, we will coordinate in order to support the militant armed forces of Lebanon, and in the coming weeks a conference of France will be held."

He added: "In my opinion, holding it before the captives' elections is useless."

After the ground attack in March, the captured Israeli forces captured parts of southern Lebanon, and at the same time, the Lebanese authorities are under pressure to disarm Hezbollah.
