The Minister of Defense of Iran, Mehrad Ahali Katabchi, announced that he has focused his new position on meeting the needs of the Air Force and Space of the Revolutionary Guards and the Air Defense Department of the Army.

In a statement quoted by ISNA news agency, Ackley said: "For us, responding to repeated threats is not a rhetorical contest, but means making threats more prepared and more effective defense capabilities."

While stating that "we are focused on our goals with new technologies", he emphasized: "We eat land, but we do not give land".

Iran's defense minister did not reveal the details of the new technologies.

Mehrad Ahli, who has been subject to international sanctions since 2007 for his role in Iran's ballistic missile program, is still on the sanctions list of the United States and the European Union.
