Trump: We no longer know whose side we're on in Iran At a campaign rally in Youngstown, Ohio, Donald Trump said the United States may have gone too far on purpose for the leaders of the Islamic Republic. Trump said: "We may have gone too far with their leaders, because we no longer know whose side we are on." By stating that "no one wants to be the president of Iran", he claimed that possible candidates do not want to accept this position. Trump said the Islamic Republic now doesn't even have a leader and top officials, and Washington faces a problem determining which side to negotiate with in Iran. The American president also repeated his previous claim that Iran had lost its air force and all 159 of its vessels and said that these vessels "lay gracefully on the seabed."
