Saudi Arabia's energy minister, Abdulaziz bin Salman, called the events of the last few weeks "serious" and stated that Riyadh's response should be "equally severe" because the Houthis have escalated their attacks on Saudi Arabia and killed 15 people in their attacks in the past two weeks.

On the other hand, the "Sirium" aviation analysis institute announced that 60% of regular flights through Riyadh International Airport will be canceled today, Monday, October 12 (October 20).

Last weekend, Riyadh's international airport was the target of missile attacks by the Iran-backed Houthi militia. Attacks that left dozens dead and wounded.

The "Sirium" institute also announced that on Sunday, October 11 (October 19), 99.7% of regular flights at the Riyadh airport were canceled.
