Cartoon of the Week In today's Iran, justice seems more vulnerable than ever; After the massacre on 1404, the wave of arrests, prisons and executions continued, and for many the law was no longer a refuge for litigation, which is part of the cycle of oppression. Rationality seems to be pushed aside from the decision-making arena more and more every day, and the critical, wise and compassionate voices of society have either been silenced or marginalized. The adventurous and tension-inducing policies of the government have kept the country away from stable and real peace for years, and the result of all this is a society that has no security, no peace, and no possibility to experience natural and carefree happiness. It is as if, in the meantime, justice, rationality, love, peace, and happiness themselves, have not only been harmed, but have been deliberately removed one by one from the scene of life. This issue was the basis of Mana Nistani designing this week's cartoon for DW Farsi.
