🔶 Saudi Arabia announced the destruction of a Houthi ballistic missile

The military coalition supporting the government of Yemen, led by Saudi Arabia, announced on Sunday, October 11 (19 Mahar), that it had intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile fired by the Houthis, who are under the auspices of the Islamic Republic.

Turki al-Malki, the spokesman for this military coalition, added in his message on Channel X (formerly Twitter) that the aforementioned missile was fired at the city of Hamis in southwestern Saudi Arabia. This projectile was intercepted and destroyed.

He did not provide further details on the possible casualties or damage of this ground attack missile. Maliki blamed the Houthi militia for this ground attack.

In recent days, Hamis has also been the target of missile attacks by the Iran-backed Houthis.
