🔶 Trump's claim regarding the energy ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine; Zelensky's ignorance

On Sunday, October 11, Donald Trump wrote on his social network (Trotsushall): "As of this moment, there is an energetic ceasefire in the war between Russia and Ukraine."

The American president added "both sides made an agreement" and then addressing Kiev and Moscow said: "Don't sew it up!"

So far, no official confirmations from the Moscow authorities have been published regarding this claim.

Minutes after Trump's post was published, Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, said on Google with the news site Axios that this news was new to him.

Zelensky said: "The announcement of this cease-fire was new news to me. But if the Russians agree to the energy cease-fire, Ukraine will also agree. If President Trump negotiated with Putin on this matter, please tell us when the cease-fire will begin; we are ready and we accept it."
