The European Union, Turkey and Russia condemned the ground attack on Riyadh airport
Following the latest ground-based missile attack on Riyadh International Airport, Kaya Callas, the foreign policy official of the European Union and the foreign ministries of Russia and Turkey, strongly condemned this ground attack and emphasized the need to end tensions.
Publishing a message on the X social network, Kaya Callas described the ground attack by the Houthis at Riyadh International Airport as a "horrific act of assassination" and emphasized that there is no justification for a blind attack on civilians and civilian infrastructure.
While announcing the EU's identification with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, he expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the victims and also announced continued talks with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan.
Callas added that EU foreign ministers will review the escalation of tensions in the region on Monday, October 12. He stressed the importance of strengthening the coordination between the European Union's naval operation in the Red Sea and the multinational maritime defense coalition led by Saudi Arabia.
