Deadly shooting in Pennsylvania; 9 people were killed

The police announced that a man in the city of "Erie" in the state of Pennsylvania shot dead eight people and then took his own life.

This 45-year-old man, whose identity has not yet been released, committed these murders in his home. Josh Shapiro, the governor of Pennsylvania, expressed his sympathy to the residents of this coastal city following the incident.

On Saturday, October 10, local police announced that this mass shooting occurred at a residence in the city of Erie.

Erie Police Chief Rick Laura said seven of the eight victims were related to the attacker and the eighth was a family friend.

According to the police, the attacker died before the rescue and police forces that arrived due to a bullet that apparently shot himself.

A one-year-old girl and a five-year-old boy were among the victims, a pregnant woman was also killed in this shooting.
