🔶 Serbian students, the electoral rival of Vucic's party; Battle for change
The Serbian students' interception movement, which was established two years ago after the collapse of the Novi Sad train station canopy, has now entered a new phase. After months of intercepting corruption and government performance, the students are preparing this time to compete with the party of Aleksandar Vucic in the form of an electoral list.
The early parliamentary elections of Serbia will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2026 (November 3, 1405). In these elections, the citizens choose the representatives of the parliament; A parliament whose composition plays a fundamental role in determining the future government.
Aleksandar Vucic resigned from the presidency of this country before the early parliamentary elections. He is now the main candidate of the "Progressive Party of Serbia" in this election, and if his party wins, he plans to return to the post of prime minister. Vucic was the prime minister of Serbia from 2014 to 2017.
