Prisoners The IDF announced the killing of three members of armed Palestinian armed groups in targeted attacks in the Gaza Strip on Thursday, October 8 (October 16). Two of the dead were members of the military wing of the Islamic Jihad in Palestine and another person was the commander of the military wing of Hamas.
The POW identified these men as Hussam Walid Hassan Abul-Ata, Majdi Muin Yusuf al-Ayoubi and Muhammad Ajah.
According to the POW statement, Abul Ata was a commander in the missile unit of the military wing of the Islamic Jihad, and al-Ayoubi was also active in the military wing of this group, and both were killed in Gaza City. Muhammad Ajah, who was hit in the Furkan area, was presented as a company commander in the military wing of Hamas. The Israel Prisoners of War army says that these three men in recent days carried out plans for a ground attack on the captured Israeli soldiers and tried to return the operational power to their groups and considered these actions a violation of the cease-fire agreement.
