Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a meeting with Massoud Pezhkian, his Iranian counterpart, announced Moscow's willingness to help end the war and crisis in the Middle East.

According to the TASS news agency, Putin said at this meeting on Thursday, October 8: "We are ready to use everything in our power to help resolve this situation." The Russian president also added that Iran made real efforts to end the war between the United States and Israel's captives against Iran.

Meanwhile, Massoud Pazhkian, who emphasized Tehran's willingness to resolve the conflict diplomatically, said that Iran will not withdraw from the path of negotiations.

According to a statement from Iran's presidential office, Pazhkian stated: "We are talking; however, every time we talk to the US, they launch new attacks. Despite this, we will not leave the negotiating table. Pajeshkian also announced: "We are currently summarizing the proposals, and after the final text is ready, we will examine it through mediators and forward all the proposals."
