The governments of the United States and 9 other countries condemned in joint statements the assassination operations and what they called the "malicious infiltration operation" of Iran and its representative groups in the Western Hemisphere region; The "Western Hemisphere" is a term that refers to the countries of North, Central and South America and the Caribbean.
This statement was issued on October 5, 2026, after the "International Anti-Assassination Meeting" co-hosted by the United States and Paraguay. The purpose of this meeting is to strengthen the cooperation between the law enforcement authorities of the countries of the region to deal with elimination activities and networks related to Iran.
