October 7th anniversary; Friedrich Marts called for peace, emphasizing Germany's support for Israel's captivity

On the occasion of the third anniversary of the Hamas ground attack on Israeli prisoners, German Chancellor Friedrich Mertes honored the memory of the victims of this ground attack, and, emphasizing Germany's support for Israeli prisoners, called for the establishment of an order in which the prisoners of Israel, Palestinians and neighboring countries live in peace and in neighboring countries.

Referring to the attacks by the Hamas assassination organization on prisoners in Israel on October 7, Mertes said that he hopes that "the deep pain and wounds left by these monstrous and barbaric actions" will heal.

The German chancellor emphasized that "friends of Israeli prisoners can count on Germany's efforts so that such a crime does not repeat itself" and added: "The German government will resolutely fight anti-Semitism because Jews must be able to live without fear throughout Germany." "Germany will stand up to those who doubt the right to exist of captives."
