The "Didhaban" news portal accused the US of "contradictory positions" regarding the negotiations and the Strait of Hormuz, citing the words of Foreign Ministry officials and the Salami Council.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmail Bakaei, said that the American response to Iran's proposals came through Qatari mediation and Iran communicated its positions through this channel. According to him, supplementary answers will be sent and Iran's focus at this stage is on "securing the Strait of Hormuz" and removing the sanctions. Bakai emphasized that Iran did not enter the nuclear talks with the United States.

Hassan Kashkawi, the spokesman for the Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, told the Mizen news agency that the negotiation phase is almost over and now it is the "decision phase". According to him, America should decide on the understanding formed earlier and "the ball is in America's court". Kashkavi also called the statements of the American officials about the nuclear program contradictory and said that if the nuclear facilities were destroyed, the nuclear negotiations no longer have any meaning.
