The death sentence of 37-year-old Omid Guderzond Chejini, one of the citizens arrested on January 18, 1404 in Kazwin, after being issued by the revolutionary court, was also upheld at the appeal stage.

According to human rights media, this political prisoner, who is in Chovinder Kazwin Jail, is now in grave danger of execution after the death sentence was upheld by the Court of Appeal.

This citizen was accused of "destruction at the entrance of Qazvin district". This political prisoner denied the charge and announced that although he was present at the scene, "he did not play a role in the destruction or burning of the building."

After he was arrested, Omid Guderzond Chegini was imprisoned in the solitary cell of the Revolutionary Guards Intelligence for about 40 days, and he did not have access to a lawyer during the hearing of the case.

According to human rights media reports, so far at least 29 civilians have been executed in connection with the interception of Dima in Iran, and the process of issuing death sentences has increased.
