🔶 The Pentagon: We have removed all B1 bombers from Britain
America redeployed all 12 B1 bombers stationed at British Fairford Air Force Base to the United States. In recent months, this base has been one of the centers used by the United States for the deployment and operation of long-range bombers, and the departure of these planes occurred following increased security concerns regarding this base.
The Wall Street Journal was the first media to publish this news, and according to American officials, it was reported that all B1 bombers based in Fairford are returning to America.
Hours later, the Pentagon officially confirmed this news and announced in a statement that for security reasons it was not possible to confirm the movement of troops and equipment at the time of its implementation, but it can now confirm that all American bombers based in Fairford have returned to their main bases in the United States. The US Department of Defense (War) also emphasized that the B1, B2 and B52 bombers are still capable of carrying out long-range missions from American soil.
