Babak Amir Khosravi, one of the founders of the Republican Union of Iran, died in Paris. Amir Khosravi was born in Tabriz in 1306 and joined the Toda party in 1324.

This political activist was active in the former Czechoslovakia, the former Soviet Union and East Germany for decades and returned to Iran after the 1957 revolution, but left Iran again in 1361 and went to France.

Amir Khosrabi ended his cooperation and membership in the Toda party in 1363, and upon its announcement of its split, he founded an organization called the "People's Democratic Party of Iran" and published publications called "Liberation of Rah" as an organ of this party.

He also played a role in the foundation and establishment of the "Saidago and Democracy Association" in Paris, and continued to participate in the establishment of the Republican Union of Iran and its establishment since the beginning of 2002.
