In publishing a report, Amirkabir News announced the issuance of disciplinary orders to 10 students from Purdue University in Mashhad in connection with the interceptions in Dima.

In part of Amir Kabir's news report, which states that these sentences "range from a written reprimand and inclusion in the file to three and a half years of exclusion from education and expulsion from the university", it is stated that in total eight of these students were sentenced to 16 and a half years of temporary exclusion from education.

From these news it also appears that a student named Elias Rezada, a mechanical engineering student, was expelled from the university, and another student also faced "a written reprimand and inclusion in the disciplinary file".

Also, a number of other students were sentenced to various punishments, including a six-month temporary suspension from education. The issuing of these orders against student activists is being carried out while in recent months there have been increasing reports of summonses and reprimands, as well as the filing of cases and the issuing of disciplinary orders to students in various Iranian universities.
