🔶 Reports on the targeting of an oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz
The UK Maritime Trade Operations Center (UKMTO) received a report of an incident in the Strait of Hormuz on Sunday, October 4.
According to this news, the captain of an oil tanker reported to this center that a ship "was hit by unknown projectiles and as a result the engine room was damaged."
The Merchant Marine Operations Center in the United Kingdom also reported that the ship's crew is safe and "no environmental consequences have been reported at this time."
A statement from Britain's Maritime Operations Center also said that authorities are investigating the incident and "vessels are advised to proceed with caution and report any suspicious activity to the centre."
