A statement by 56 countries on the anniversary of the return of sanctions against Iran

56 countries around the world issued joint statements on the anniversary of the return of international sanctions against Iran, known as the snapback mechanism, stating that Iran must comply with its obligations regarding its nuclear and missile programs.

In accordance with their obligations, these countries will continue to take measures under domestic and international laws and authorities to prevent the supply, sale, or transfer to Iran of items, materials, equipment, goods, and technologies that could assist sensitive nuclear activities in terms of proliferation or the development of nuclear weapon delivery systems.
