North Korea has launched a ballistic missile again

According to a statement from South Korea and Japan, North Korea launched a ballistic missile towards the sea on the morning of Saturday, October 3 (October 11).

The South Korean military announced that this missile was launched from the Wonsan area around 6:30 am. The Japanese Coast Guard, while warning ships in the area, announced that this missile was apparently a ballistic missile that apparently crashed.

South Korea's presidential office called an emergency meeting of the National Security Council after the missile launch. The South Korean military has announced that it will increase its surveillance and share security information with the US and Japan following the possibility of more missile tests.

Before the missile was launched, Kim Yo Jong, the imperious sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, rejected Seoul's request for an apology from Pyongyang over the use of the mines.
