Iran's judiciary announced the execution of Siavash Jamshidi in Shahrekord

Local Iranian media, citing the judiciary's media center, reported that the death sentence of Siavash Jamshidi Kheirabadi, one of the detainees from the January 2025 (1404) protests in Shahrekord, was carried out after being upheld by the Supreme Court.

Judicial authorities of the Islamic Republic accused him of a bad record, including "numerous criminal records, including fraud, theft, illegal possession of weapons, and kidnapping."

According to a published report, the court sentenced him to death based on "the defendant's confessions, police force reports, and messages recorded on his mobile phone" on charges of "enmity against God by drawing a firearm" and "assembly and collusion against national security"; the verdict was ultimately upheld and carried out after appeal in the Supreme Court.

The judiciary also accused him of participating in the January 2025 (1404) protests and firing military weapons at the police and security forces.
