🔶 Arrested three suspects of planning a ground attack in West Germany

After receiving information from an intelligence agency, the German police arrested three men in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia on suspicion of preparing an operation threatening the security of the country. Until the publication of this report, the security authorities did not publish details about the nature and possible purpose of this action.

An arrest operation was carried out on the evening of Thursday, October 1 (October 9) in the two cities of Ona and Hagan with the participation of special police forces.

The Dortmund police announced that the information received raises the suspicion of the preparation of "a crime threatening the security of the state" on these three people. Based on this, they may have planned a ground attack.

According to German law, in such cases, the security authorities can intervene before a possible ground attack and during the planning phase.
