The body of a 15-year-old boy who disappeared after the flood in the city of Meravhotpe was found in the Etrak River after four days of searching.

Morteza Salimi is the CEO of the Red Crescent Society of Golestan Province. The boy's body was found by local fishermen in the area between the villages of Houtan and Chat, and then, with the cooperation of Red Crescent forces and local personnel, it was transferred to the border battalion. The operation to find the second missing person continues.

The body of a 50-year-old man was also found by groups of people. The search for another 12-year-old youth continues.

Floods have affected parts of northern Iran almost annually for years. However, what drew more attention in this year's flood in the Turkmen Sahra region than in the past was the widespread and active participation of spontaneous groups of people in searching for the missing and assisting flood victims.
