Trump: The ground attack on Iran may increase after the congressional elections

Donald Trump, the president of the United States, announced in an interview with "Time" magazine that military attacks against Iran may increase after the mid-term elections in the US. In response to the question of whether such an action is under consideration, he said: "It is possible" and further emphasized that the US has increased its stockpile of weapons significantly over the past six months.

In this interview, Trump also explained why the war with Iran has entered its seventh month, contrary to his initial assessment. According to him, he initially planned to end the operation in a short period of time, but after the ground attack on Iran's nuclear facilities, he decided to continue the operation. Trump said: "I could have stopped there, but I decided to continue because I didn't want Iran to resume its activities in a different way after a while."
