Israeli POW Times quoted from the Israeli POW reported that a man named Muhammad Abdul Aziz Muhammad Najjar was killed in an airstrike on Wednesday, September 30 (October 8) in Khanyounis. The army claimed that it was a member of the military wing of Hamas and was participating in the October 7 ground attack.

This report said that the Palestinian media mentioned Muhammad Najjar as a journalist after he was killed.

Israel's POW also claimed that Najjar was recently involved in planning attacks against captive forces of Israel and citizens of that country and in an attempt to restore Hamas' capabilities and "systematically" violated the cease-fire agreement.

In "Times of Prisoners of Israel" the Israeli prisoners were quoted as saying that the army took the necessary measures to reduce the possibility of harming civilians before the air strike. In this context, the use of precision weapons and aerial surveillance is mentioned.
