Abuzar Shiroudi, head of the Iranian Aviation Organization, announced that in response to the sanctions on Iranian airlines, this organization, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, sent an official complaint to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the court in The Hague.

Shiroudi said on Monday, the 6th of Mahar: "Since restrictions were imposed on direct flights in Europe, connecting flights through aviation hubs in the region, including Istanbul, have been used as an alternative solution, and this process continues."

According to IRNA, the party responsible for the attacks on the airport, planes and radars in Iran is an example of a "war crime" and added: "Regarding the ground attack and the bombing of airports and planes, the international organization ICAO gave the right to Iran, but the cases are pending in the court in The Hague and we have not been informed yet." According to him, the possible payment of "compensation" to Iran is a matter that will be decided by the International Court of Justice based in The Hague.
