Axios, citing Trump, announced the possibility of continuing negotiations with Iran

A day after rejecting Iran's offer to end the war, Trump said in a phone interview with Axios that he expects the American negotiating team to enter into further negotiations with Iran in the coming week.

The Axios news site published a report in this regard, indicating that the Islamic Republic wants any negotiations to focus on issues such as the Strait of Hormuz and the US naval blockade, and wrote, on the other hand, that the Trump administration wants Iran to agree to a concession in the nuclear field.

According to Axios, Trump told this media: "I look forward to further negotiations with Iran [this week]. They want to make an agreement, but this is not the agreement I want to make. This is what we would have agreed to maybe a year ago. "They counted too much on their hands."
