🔶 Trump: I rejected Iran's plan regarding the Strait of Hormuz

Donald Trump, the President of the United States of America, in response to the questions of reporters in the White House about Iran's latest proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz within seven days, said that he rejected this proposal.

Trump said: "They want to make an agreement according to which they will open the strait immediately, because they are losing a lot."

Elsewhere in his statement, the US president again called his critical media outlets "fake news" and said they were not reporting this situation.

Trump also stated that "the United States is winning big against Iran" and said that the United States has "full control" of the Strait of Hormuz and a large amount of oil leaves this route. He added: "29 ships left last night."

According to Trump, Iran now wants an agreement, but the plan presented by Tehran is not acceptable to him. According to him: "I also like to make an agreement, but this agreement will not be acceptable to me." Trump also said that Iran "deceived itself" in trying to close the Strait of Hormuz.
