Mohammad Saleh Jokar, the head of the Interior Affairs Committee and Salami's parliamentary councils and one of the former commanders of the Revolutionary Guards, said that Iran will not back down from 60% uranium enrichment.

According to the Fars news agency, Joker called the enrichment of uranium at different levels "the legitimate right of the Iranian people" and said that the Republic of Salami does not aspire to build nuclear weapons, but should continue to use nuclear knowledge in sectors such as industry, medicine, agriculture and fuel production.

He also emphasized that the opinion that Iran does not need 60% enrichment is a demand of "enemies" and the Islamic Republic must protect what he called the right of the Iranian people to become rich.

These statements were made at the same time that Massoud Pazhkian, the president of Iran, said about the possibility of IAEA inspectors returning to Iran.
