🔶 Pazhkian and the Prime Minister of Qatar met in New York

Massoud Pazhkian met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister of Qatar and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, on Friday, October 3 (September 25) at his residence in New York.

This meeting was held on the sidelines of the 80th United Nations General Assembly.

The two sides talked about the latest developments in the region and efforts to reduce tension. At this meeting, creating a "suitable space for dialogue" was one of the central axes of the negotiations.

The two sides also discussed ways to help "improve regional security and stability."

In recent months, Qatar has been one of the active players in regional diplomatic efforts, and the country's role as a mediator in talks related to Iran and regional crises has been noted.
