David Perdue, the US ambassador to China, said Donald Trump called China's support for Iran "unacceptable" during his talks with Xi Jinping at the White House.

In an interview with CNBC, Perdue said that Trump clarified America's position regarding Beijing's cooperation with Tehran in his meeting with the Chinese president.

According to him, US President Xi Jinping said that China's aid to Iran is "unacceptable" to Washington.

These statements were made as the Wall Street Journal previously reported that China sent about 1,300 air cargo including dual-use parts for drones and missiles to the Salami Republic's Ministry of Defense from the beginning of this year to the end of June.

According to this report, these parts can be used for both civilian and military purposes, and for this reason, they are classified as dual-use items. In recent months, alongside the war with Iran and the crisis in shipping lanes in the region, America has tried to target supply chains of equipment, parts and technology linked to Tehran.
