Stopping all flights from Iran to Iraq; Najaf also joined the sanctions

According to a statement from the Najaf International Airport Authority, all incoming flights from Iran and outgoing flights to Iran have been suspended since 2:00 a.m. on Friday, September 25 (October 3) local time until further notice.

Iraq's official news agency echoed the directive of the Banjaf airport management, in which airlines and organizations responsible for flight operations were asked not to take any action related to the flights covered by this decision.

It was also reported that the airlines will be notified of additional orders regarding the renewal of flights.

The suspension of Iranian flights at Najaf Airport was announced after the Civil Aviation Organization of the Republic of Salmi announced the suspension of the acceptance of flights by Iranian airlines at Baghdad Airport.
