🔶 Iran's offer to America to reopen the Strait of Hormuz within seven days

The New York Times and the Financial Times reported that the Republic of Salami presented a plan to the United States to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

According to this media outlet, Abbas Iraqichi, Iran's foreign minister, said on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly that the Strait of Hormuz "will be reopened after seven days" if certain conditions are met by the United States.

According to him, these conditions are not new and were mentioned earlier in the Islamabad memorandum. Iraqi added that this plan can be implemented once the United States agrees.

The cessation of conflicts, including in Lebanon, the release of more than 12 billion dollars of Iran's blocked assets, and the lifting of Iran's oil sanctions and the lifting of the naval blockade were among Iran's demands. In response to the journalists' questions about the Salami Republic's proposal, the White House only clarified: "We are having positive and constructive talks [with Iran] through mediators."
